Construction principle
- Glulam timber rafters of 51x400mm, hardboard oiled, tongue and groove 21mm, roofs of roofing felt and TopSafe cardboard. Interior roof clad in insulation, plastic foil, internal lathing 28x70mm s300 and plaster 13mm.
- Intermediate floor frame of steel beam IPE 300 S355 and steel column VKRK 200x200x6.3 S355.
- Intermediate floor of Plannja Combideck is a reinforcing steel, reinforcing mesh # 6100, cast-in-place concrete 160mm C25 / 30. Interior cladding of 13mm plaster.
- Exterior walls lightweight concrete 375mm with gypsum plaster 10mm.
- Load-bearing inner walls lightweight concrete 200mm with plaster.
- Interior walls lightweight concrete 100mm with plaster.
- Foundation of k-bracket ø10 s300 with BS 2 + 3 ø12 s100, 400x550mm s400 plinth element, concrete slab 100mm C25/30 with reinforcement mesh #6150, warm foundation of 3x100mm s200 cellular plastic and draining layer 150mm with ev. geotextile. Interior cladding above floor 25mm.

Handling of wind and stability loads: The wind load is carried via the wind-blown outer wall into the roof, floor and foundation. The roof panel carries the loads on to the outer walls through the panel action, which via the panel action carries the loads down to the foundation. Wind loads and stability loads that are introduced into the floor are carried by the slab action in the floor to the outer walls. The outer walls are attached to the foundation via the bottom floor.

Loads
Snow load:
- Snow zone 2.5 kN/m² selected according to EKS 11, section C, chapter 1.1.3.
- Possible snow pockets are taken into account when dimensioning according to Eurocode 1, part 1-3 (EN 1991-1-3).
- Reduction factors according to EKS 11, section B, section 5.
Form factors are selected with regard to the current design of the roof according to EKS 11, section C, chapter 1.1.3 and
Eurocode 1, Parts 1-3.

Wind load:
- Characteristic velocity pressure qp according to EKS 11, section C, chapter 1.1.4, table C-10a.
- Reference wind speed 25 m/s according to EKS 11, section C, chapter 1.1.4.
- Terrain type II selected according to Eurocode 1, part 1-4 (EN 1991-1-4), chapter 4.3 and appendix A.
- Building height max 7 meters.

Useful load:
- Useful load on floors etc. according to EKS 11, section C, chapter 1.1.1, table C-1.
- Reduction factors according to EKS 11, section B, section 5.

Permanent load:
- Permanent loads include the weight of the building components.

Load combination
Load combinations in ultimate limit state according to EKS 11, section B, chapter 0. Static equilibrium for the building is checked against equation 6.10 in section 6. The breaking load is defined according to equations 6.10a and 6.10b in section 7.
When dimensioning in service limit conditions, the frequent load drop is used in the event of a temporary inconvenience. If there is a risk of permanent damage, the characteristic load case is used.

Safety class
The building's load-bearing main system and other load-bearing parts are assigned to safety class 2 in accordance with EKS 11, section A, section 13.

Sizing control
Dimensioning control according to EKS 11, section A, section 25. The inspection includes examination of:
- Assumptions on which the dimensioning is based in relation to the requirements placed on the house in question.
- Assumptions regarding material properties and geotechnical conditions.
- Assumptions regarding loads and material stress.
- Selected calculation models and calculation methods.
- That graphical and numerical calculation methods are correctly implemented.
- That selected test methods are suitable if special tested results are used.
- That the calculation results are correctly transferred to construction documents.

Lifetime category
The intended service life of the house is 50 years, service life category 4 according to Eurocode 0 (EN 1990), chapter 2.3.

Climate class
Load-bearing glulam in roof joists is classified as climate class 2. In other respects according to Eurocode 5 (EN 1995-1-1), Chapter 2.3.1.3.

Corrosivity class
Outdoor steel is classified in corrosivity class C4. Steel built into the outer wall for class C2 and steel indoors for class C1.

Exposure class
Concrete structures are assigned to exposure class XC1.

Fire classes
The building is designed in building class Br3 and activity class 3A.
